Welcome to Granta Canoe Hire We import our canoes from Old Town on the Penobscot River in northeast Maine, USA. It is from this place that the Penobscot Indians, a tribe of hunters and gatherers, take their name.

Expert or novice, canoeing is the easiest way to discover Cambridge's calmer waters. Although not exactly Indian country, canoeing up river to Grantchester is the most popular route. Life-vests are supplied as standard to all children and must be worn.

Canoe Hire

Prices: per canoe
Minimum charge per canoe hired: 1 hour
Security deposit required before hire commences.

£14.00 per hour at all times. Payment after completion of hire.

Language and local schools may pre-book canoes at discounted rates.
