Family Canoe Hire We import our canoes from Old Town on the Penobscot River in northeast Maine, USA. It is from this place that the Penobscot Indians, a tribe of hunters and gatherers, take their name.

Expert or novice, canoeing is the easiest way to discover Cambridge's calmer waters. Although not exactly Indian country, canoeing up river to Grantchester is the most popular route. Life-vests are supplied as standard to all children and must be worn.
